What others are saying…

“I’ve been a practicing Christian since I was 7 years old. I’ve followed God and His voice and have served the church and my community for nearly 40 years. I’ve served in the smallest and in the largest possible positions in ministry, and have achieved the highest degree possible in my field. I am well read and an active seeker of God and His will. I have never had the Christian walk explained to me like this. I have never been exposed to contemplative living instruction that literally held my hand and invited me in. Through carefully curated assigned readings, lectures, and discussions, Mike and Sara Carrara Di Fuccia have opened wide the window of my soul to let in fresh air and the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit. I have realized, for the first time in my life, what taking the mask off actually looks like. I have found a more authentic way to live and I am forever grateful for the important work of Platform to Table.”

Your donation supports the services we offer to pastors and leaders…

  • Our theology courses are taught by PhD level professors or by experts in the field of theology and spiritual formation. We provide a trauma informed classroom environment for leaders to process their questions and experiences in light of the Church tradition and charismatic Anglo-Catholic spirituality. These courses are the foundation of Year 1 of our Spiritual (Re)Formation Program. They aim to deconstruct narcissistic theology and (re)form a loving God-image.

  • We offer Contemplative Writing Pilgrimages as an important part of Year 2 of our Spiritual (Re)Formation Program. They utilize storytelling, Lectio Divina, imaginative prayer, and narrative writing therapy techniques to help leaders discover Christ in their story and to “restory” malformed narratives that have been directing their lives. These groups help leaders recover from trauma and (re)form secure attachment with God.

  • We provide a Leadership Support Group called PTA (Platform to Table Anonymous). The group runs similarly to a 12-Step program group as it provides a safe and anonymous space for leaders to get the support that they need while they confront their unresolved childhood attachment issues and shoulder the demands of leadership. Leaders are equipped with 12-Step program tools that facilitate emotional regulation and decision making in Year 3 of our Spiritual (Re)Formation Program.

  • We provide 1-on-1 Spiritual Direction and Leadership (Re)Formation Coaching as a part of the Spiritual (Re)Formation Program curriculum that we offer. These services provide leaders with a “spiritual friend” to sojourn with them on the path to discovery of who God is, recovery of the authentic self, and reconnection with God, self, and others. Our Spiritual Directors and Leadership (Re)Formation coaches are certified, professionally trained, and trauma and 12-step informed.

  • We invite leaders on Monastic Retreats where they can experience the passive spiritual practices of liturgy, silence, stillness, contemplation, simplicity, hospitality, Christian yoga, and spiritual direction. These retreats help ground and equip a leader for Year 2 of our Spiritual (Re)Formation Program. The spiritual practices leaders experience arrest compulsive performing, regulate the nervous system, and reestablish connection with God and self.

  • In Year 3 of our Spiritual (Re)Formation Program, leaders go on a Hiking Pilgrimage through a National Park in the United States or Europe. It is a trauma informed and embodied experience that immerses the leader in nature and utilizes movement to process emotions, connect with God, and discover new perspectives, pathways, and possibilities for the future.
