Dear Prospective Student,

We are honored that you would consider being a part of this cohort. Having walked this journey ourselves, we understand that it is not easy to trust leaders and organizations after seasons of deconstruction, crisis, or burnout. We also understand how unresolved childhood trauma and attachment issues can bear a heavy weight on the already tremendous demands of leadership. Not only are you leading, you are shouldering responsibilities to family, friends, and the community around you.

We want to express our heart and commitment to you. We desire to provide a place of refuge for you. When we began our Platform to Table journey 15 years ago we longed for a community with resources like this. A place to take off the mask of our performer personas; where we could be honest about our fears, grief, shame, and unmet needs. God led us to many different faces and places that could bear the weight of our stories while mirroring the best in us. Now, we want to offer that same space to you. A space for you to be, to belong, and to become your authentic self.

There are many other pathways to spiritual (re)formation. I can assure you that you will need more in this next year to three years than what we have to offer. However, we do believe this program can play a significant role in your spiritual journey. It was on this very journey that we discovered real revival. Raised in the charismatic evangelical church, we expected the road to revival would look a lot differently, but part of our journey has been learning to accept that things take as long as they take. Our job is simply to surrender, tand let our peace be our pace.
